Spend one week (great way to spend your holidays) getting creative and learning how to silversmith your own professional jewellery. You will work with both silver and copper and learn the following skills:
- sawing & piercing
- soldering (traditional, sweat and ball)
- bezel & prong setting
- fusing
- sand casting
- hammering & punches
- patina basics
- polishing & finishing
You will complete a minimum of one ring, 2 pendants, 1 set of earrings. You will also leave with a checklist for setting up your own bench.

| Metalsmith Instruction & Coaching |
|
Metalsmithing is the next step for beaders and basic jewellery makers. If you are interested in learning how to make rings, bezelled objects, pendants and metal jewellery I can work with you one-on-one. I will create each lesson to fit what you are looking for, whether it's a particular skill or finishing a specific project. You will have access to all my equipment and supplies. The cost is $25 / hour plus supply costs. |
| Bench Rentals |

Have you already taken a basic silversmithing course but don't have the equipment or confidence to do it on your own? You can rent my bench (and all the equipment) and have me there for support. The cost is $10 / hour plus any supply costs if you need supplies. |
| Bead 'n' Bitch Workshops |

Each Bead'n'Bitch session complete a new jewellery project or bring your own projects in progress and get help completing it. Time to hang out with fabulously fun women, share some drinks and create beautiful ( or at least unique :-) ) jewellery! Includes beverages, project materials and coaching.
(Scheduled sessions have been postponed until the Fall, but you can book a private Bead 'n' Bitch session for your group) |

$150 (approx $15 / kid)
I come to you and the party with supplies, tools and cool projects in hand. Depending on the group we can usually complete 2-3 projects in 2 hours. Usual projects include:
- clay beads
- friendship bracelets
- stretchy beaded necklaces
- picture holders
The best part is that I take care of the clean up, and their beaded projects become their 'loot bags'. |
